Bam Margera's uncle Don Vito, who played a big role on Bam's MTV reality show "Viva La Bam," is currently in critical condition. According to Bam's mom, April Margera, Vito, 59, collapsed Tuesday at his home in Pennsylvania and was rushed to the hospital where he remained in a coma until Friday morning, according to TMZ. He is currently awake, but in critical condition as his kidneys and liver are failing due to years of hard partying. Doctors have apparently told the family to prepare for the worst.

When he woke up this morning, April said he was feeling much better and even made a few phone calls, but his organs continue to fail, so he is not out of the woods yet.

Vito's close friend Ben Brucato said that he is fighting for his life, and that recovery is not looking good, according to Pop Wrapped

"Death is imminent, and recovery is near impossibility," another source said.

Vito has had a rough couple of years. Back in 2006, he was convicted of fondling two 12-year-old girls at an event and, even though he didn't end up facing any jail time, he was sentenced to 10 years of "serious probation," according to Perez Hilton. He also was forced to attend alcohol education classes.

Around this time last year, Bam posted a photo of Vito to his Twitter and wrote: "Everyone send positive vibes Don Vito's way today. He's in the hospital right now and he's having a pretty rough time."
