A Florida man allegedly went ballistic when he saw his caregiver's car covered with grass clippings. Thursday, Max Horton, 91, fired his gun at a pair of landscapers after they accidentally covered the Cadillac with lawn clippings close to his Palo Verde Drive home in Avon Park, said the Highlands County Sheriff's Office, according to the New York Daily News. He was arrested for the incident.

Horton held Robert Hendrix, one of the landscapers, at gunpoint and made him get down on his knees. Hendrix's co-worker, Johnny Barnes, tried to intervene, but fell short.

After a while, the landscapers managed to neutralize Horton and apprehended him until police arrived, according to WPXI.

Horton was first taken to the Highlands Regional Medical Center in order to get treatment after the incident, but he was rejected because he made threats against the hospital's staff back in 2013.

Horton is currently being held at the Highlands County Jail without bond and has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, according to First Coast News.
