An Ernest Hemingway Look-Alike contest in Key West, Fla. was won by Charlie Boice on his 15th time entering the competition. The contest is held annually at Sloppy Joe's Bar, which was frequented by the writer Ernest Hemingway in the 1930s. Boice, of Palm Beach Gardens, came out on top of 122 entrants, who all resembled the legendary author.

Celebrity cook Paula Deen's husband, Michael Groover, also finished in the top five, according to NBC.

As well as having to look like Hemingway, judges look for someone who is an "honorable individual," who will represent the Hemingway Look-Alike Society, as stated by Sloppy Joe's website.

Boice, a former air traffic controller, was chosen because of his passion for marlin fishing, according to Fox. This was a hobby also enjoyed by Hemingway. The competition was judged by a panel of former contest winners, and was the highlight of the Hemingway Days festival which honors the author's legacy.

Hemingway spent time living in Key West, and wrote the novel "To Have and Have Not," while he was based there.
