Ne-Yo is not only engaged to his girlfriend, Crystal Renay, but they're also expecting their first child together, the R&B singer confirmed on Twitter Monday.
"Clearing the air..@mscrystalrenay and I are ENGAGED to be married next year. And yes we are expecting. #FromTheHorsesMouth," the 35-year-old singer tweeted, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Crystal Renay is a model/actress the "So Sick" singer has been rumored to be dating for several months.
Speculation that Renay was pregnant started on Sunday, when Ne-Yo, whose real name is Shaffer Chimere Smith, posted a picture of his new fiancée holding a black-and-white picture, in which he can be seen cradling her belly. The photo was captioned "Surprise!!!!!!!!!!!," according to People.
Ne-Yo is already a dad to two other children from his previous relationship with ex-fiancee Monyetta Shaw - a 4-year-old daughter named Madilyn and a 3-year-old son Mason. He also took the opportunity to clarify recent rumors doing the rounds that he had forced Shaw to tie her tubes, stating that it was a mutual decision the two of them took before they split two years ago, MTV reported.
Shortly after, the singer explained his decision to clarify the rumors surrounding his personal life, saying he did it for his fans and supporters.
Meanwhile, his new fiancée also shared the happy news on Instagram with the caption,"'No matter what they say' our Miracle is on the way and I couldn't feel more blessed.
