Mike Huckabee, former governor of Arkansas and 2016 Republican presidential candidate, has made another controversial comment in a radio interview this Saturday. When asked by Alexander Marlow, editor-in-chief of Breitbart News, regarding Obama's Iran nuclear deal, Huckabee answered quite frankly: "This president's foreign policy is the most feckless in American history. It is so naive that he would trust the Iranians. By doing so, he will take the Israelis and march them to the door of the oven. This is the most idiotic thing, this Iran deal. It should be rejected by both Democrats and Republicans in Congress and by the American people. I read the whole deal. We gave away the whole store. It's got to be stopped.", Breitbart News reported.

After 20 months of negotiations, the nuke deal was closed July 14. In his speech, Obama declared that the deal is "not built on trust, it is built verification." The agreement removes all sanctions implemented by the U.S. government and United Nations Security Council in relation to their nuclear program. The deal will run for 25 years and Iran must abide by the conditions agreed to since the International Atomic Energy Agency will inspect all aspects of the deal, according to the New York Times.

The pro-Israel ex-governor is trying his best to garner attention for next year's presidential race, which is currently ruled by the more controversial Donald Trump. The camps of other presidential candidates did not react to Huckabee's comment, said on the Washington Post.

Deborah Wasserman-Shultz, chairman of the Democratic National Committee, demands an apology for the Jewish community and the rest of American people regarding Huckabee's comment. The chairman declared that these kinds of comments have no place in U.S. politics. The "door of the oven" comment refers to Hitler's death camps during World War II's Nazi occupation, according to BBC News.
