Alexis Bledel and Matt Bomer Too Old For Lead Roles In ‘Fifty Shaded of Grey’ Movie?

Alexis Bledel and Matt Bomer, who were considered the leading choice to play Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey for the upcoming "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie, nut rumors are swirling that the two may be too old for the parts.

Up until last week, Bledel and Bomer were viewers' top choice for the role of Ana Steele and Christian Grey in the upcoming film "Fifty Shades of Grey." However, "Gilmore Girls" actress and "White Collar" crook are being considered too old to play the parts. Both have also miraculously been dropped from many popular polls voting for the role in the film.

Bomer, who was also the leading contender for a lead role in the film, has also experienced a similar fate and is now being considered too old to play the part of Christian Grey.

Actress Felicity Jones has expressed her desire to play the role.

"It would be very exciting," the "Chalet Girl" actress said at a Belvedere vodka bash, according to the Telegraph. "I read the book and thought it was an interesting read."

Jones is not bothered all the nudity the role requires.

"It is something you consider individually with each project that you do, but clearly with this particular project it would be necessary," she said.

Jones maybe in for some tough competition with "Pretty Little Liars" actress Lucy Hale a strong candidate for the role.

"I think every girl on the red carpet wants to play [Anastasia], to be honest," she said. "That would be freaking awesome. I'm really curious to see how they will turn [the book] into a film."
