Fleetwood Mac Release North American Tour Dates

After a 3-year break from music, British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac announced their North American tour starting April 2013.

They may be aging but they're definitely not calling it quits. After enjoying a three-year break from their music, Fleetwood Mac decided to mark their reunion by announcing their North American tour starting April 2013. The tour includes concerts in 34 cities.

The tour is scheduled to begin April 4 in Columbus, Ohio, and finish up on June 12 in Detroit. Co-incidentally the tour also marks the 35th anniversary of their 1977 album, "Rumours," which landed the group four hit singles and sold more than 40 million copies worldwide. Touring is a big deal for the band. Stevie Nicks said that she likes it when Fleetwood Mac tours once in a while which keeps things interesting and edgy.

"I don't want a Fleetwood Mac tour every year or year and a half," she said. "That's why people get so excited. ... All of a sudden the world is on edge and that's what gets you out there."

Nicks also reveals that the band has no plans of breaking up - now or in the future.

"It's never going to be a final tour until we drop dead," Nicks told Reuters. "There's no reason for this to end as long as everyone is in good shape and takes care of themselves."

"This band never breaks up," Nicks said on the phone from her home in Santa Monica. After the '09 tour concluded, she added, "everybody said, 'Goodbye, talk to you soon, and this will start happening again when everybody's done with what we do when a Fleetwood Mac tour ends. We'll go out and do something else and then we'll come back and do Fleetwood Mac.' "
