If it weren't for Hannibal Buress, the public would still be relatively in the dark regarding Bill Cosby's questionable past. Back in October, Buress made jokes related to Cosby's alleged sexual assault history. Since then more than 30 women have come forward and claimed the "Cosby Show" star took advantage of them.

Not everyone has praised Buress for helping bring that information into the public though. While talking to Jimmy Kimmel on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Wednesday night, the comedian opened up, in a lighthearted way, about the death threats he has been receiving.

"It's definitely a weird situation - I get a lot of messages about it," Buress told Kimmel. "The weirdest thing about getting a death threat from a male bodybuilder-slash-stripper on Facebook is when you click on his profile and see that you have one mutual friend. Having to hit your friend up and saying, 'Hey man, can you tell your buddy to stop saying that he's gonna murder me?

"I didn't really think he was gonna kill me, I just rather not take that information into my head if I have to."
