There still has not been an official announcement on who will play Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in the movie "Fifty Shades of Grey" but fans are not shying away from picking who they believe should be cast in the movie. For Grey Ian Somerhalder, Matt Bomer and Henry Cavill are still among the top contenders and for Steele Alexis Bledel, Emilia Clarke and Lucy Hale still remain fan-favorites.
Fans are even beginning to weigh in on who should play some of the other important roles like Kate Kavanagh, Jose Rodriguez and Mrs. Robinson. After watching the ABC show "Mistresses" there is one name that should be added to list of potential actresses to play Kavanagh, Steele's feisty and outspoken best friend.
If you have ever wanted to know what Kate Kavanagh would be like on the big screen just take a look at Josslyn Carver on "Mistresses." She is played by actress Jes Macallan. On the show, which has been compared to "Fifty Shades of Grey" before, Carver could definitely be seen as a spin-off of Kate Kavanagh. Carver is a blonde beauty who is outspoken, feisty, not afraid to go after what she wants and can be a little pushy. Sounds familiar? Granted Carver is a lot more free-spirited than what we know about Kavanagh in the book.
Another plus as one person pointed out on Twitter, Macallan looks like actress Blake Lively who has been a rumored name to play Kavanagh in the movie. The only downside to casting Macallan is her age. She is 30 years old and might not be able to pull off the college student look.
According to "Entertainment Tonight" Alyssa Milano told the news program that she likes to think of "Mistresses" as "Fifty Shades of Grey without the nipple clamps."
