Yahoo! has rolled out new updates for its Mail and Tumblr apps Tuesday, with Mail now supporting multiple accounts and Tumblr getting a refined search.

Yahoo! has undergone several upgrades since Marissa Mayer acquired the position of the company's CEO in July last year. Yahoo! Mail has been updated with multiple account log-in support and the recently acquired Tumblr, the micro blogging platform bought for $1.1 billion by Yahoo, gets "new discovery experience" for users to find favorite content more easily.

With the latest update on Yahoo! Mail, users with more than one account can use it to fulfill their emailing needs. Users can sign in with multiple accounts with no limit on the number of accounts. The update brings good news for Yahoo! small business customers as it supports Business Mail accounts along with push notifications, Yahoo! Contact migration and photo attachments.

Yahoo! Mail users can simply turn off specific inboxes by selecting "Manage Accounts" under settings. Select the account and sign out while the rest of the accounts work as normal.

Yahoo also updated its Tumblr app, which gives users a refined way to search through blogs and tags from the search tab. It now includes hashtags and trending blogs, which users can follow directly from the search results page.

"One of our favorite things is getting lost in the endless sea of creativity posted here every single day. We're constantly inspired by what we find on Tumblr," Christine, marketer at Tumblr wrote in a staff blog.

"To help you find more of the stuff you love, we're bringing brand new search and explore tools to Tumblr's iPhone, iPad, and Android apps. Now you can check out what's trending on Tumblr and get suggested blogs for anything you search," she added.

Tumblr is available for free on iTunes and on Android Play Store.
