Beyoncé took a quick break from her "Mrs. Carter World Tour" to spend some time with her husband Jay-z and daughter Blue Ivy for the 4th of July holiday. The "Diva" singer showed off her famous curves in a pair of short American flag shorts and a white tank as she posed in front of a classic blue Rolls Royce. She uploaded the holiday flicks to her Tumblr, I Am.
The mom also posted photos enjoying some mother-daughter time with little Blue Ivy, the New York Daily News reports.The singer was reportedly hanging out at a busy New York City playground with her daughter and from the photos it seems people weren't shocked by the superstar's presence.
Meanwhile, the Queen B's hubby, Jay-z, who was spotted in one of the photos holding his daughter, was busy entertaining fans as he answered questions about his latest album "Magna Carta Holy Grail." The rapper is usually quiet when it comes to social media but he had a little fun talking with fans on the social networking site. It was probably a part of his promotional campaign for MCHG but his fans really seemed to enjoy the rare social glimpse of the "Empire State of Mind" rapper. Some fun facts the rapper revealed during the Q&A:
* His favorite Britney Spears song is "Toxic."
* His favorite cereal is Cap'n Cruch, Crunch Berries to be specific.
* His favorite track from MCHG is "Oceans" but hinted that that could change.
*The tracks he looks forward to performing the most are "Picasso,' 'Crown,' 'Somewhere,' and 'Beach'..."
* He still thinks Miley Cyrus is twerking somewhere in America, writing to a fan who asked about the pop singer: "She represents an old world's worst nightmare."
* Beyonce was impressed when she first heard the album. He wrote to the fan that she was "Doing all sorts of twisted shit with your fingers. #mylaughs"
* This isn't his last album, despite rumors that it was. The rapper responded to the question by writing "I tried that before, I wasn't so good at it. #mylaughs."
* If Notorious B.I.G. was still alive he would have definitely been featured on the album.
The rapper also showed his goofy side ending all his tweets to fans with the hashtag, "#mylaugh" referring to his infamous chuckle that is often featured on his songs.
