Shayanna Jenkins: Here are 11 Photos of Aaron Hernandez's Fiancée

As the story of former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez continues, there is another person that is getting more and more attention—Shayanna Jenkins.

Jenkins is part of the connection between Hernandez and his alleged murder victim, 27-year old Odin Lloyd. Jenkins sister, Shanea Jenkins was Lloyd’s girlfriend.

Shayanna Jenkins and Hernandez have an eight-month old boy together.

Not sure how Shayanna looks? Here are 11 pictures of Hernandez’s girlfriend.

NBC Sports recently cited a legal summary from Bill McCauley, a prosecutor on the case, which said Jenkins was originally cooperating with the investigation. However, after talking to Hernandez that cooperation ceased.

Also, if Jenkins plans to never speak in court against her husband, she has a way out in the form of “spousal immunity”, reported NBC Sports.

The Cornell University Law School website says spousal immunity is when, “in a criminal case the prosecution cannot compel the defendant's spouse to testify against him.” However, this concept is only extended to SPOUSES. Technically, Jenkins and Hernandez are boyfriend and girlfriend. They may even be engaged according to some reports. If Jenkins wants to avoid testifying at trial, the two have to get married before the proceedings.

Aaron Hernandez has been charged with first-degree murder for allegedly killing Lloyd. He was denied bail Thursday. Judge Renne Dupuis labeled the prosecution’s argument “circumstantial but very, very strong, according to ESPN.com.

Hernandez was cut by the Patriots shortly after his arrest. If the tight end ever wants to play in the NFL again he will most likely have to be acquitted and go through NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

Here is a statement released by the NFL Thursday according to ESPN.com:

"NFL clubs were advised today that if Aaron Hernandez enters into a player contract prior to the resolution of the charges pending against him, the contract will not be approved or take effect until Commissioner Roger Goodell holds a hearing," read the statement. "The purpose of the hearing would be to determine whether Hernandez should be suspended or face other action prior to the charges being resolved."
