Wale fans know how much the D.C. rapper loves the hit comedy show "Seinfeld." He has often said it is an inspiration to him and has previously recorded to mixtape's dedicated to the sitcom. Now Wale is teaming up with comedian Jerry Seinfeld for his upcoming studio album "The Album About Nothing," the Washington Post reports.
The comedian, who has been busy with his Web series "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee," said he had no problem teaming up with the rapper. Seinfeld himself is said to be a fan of Wale's as well. The upcoming album is due out sometime next year. In the meantime, Wale gave fans a sneak peek at what to expect by including Seinfeld in "The Outro About Nothing" at the end of "The Gifted" album, which came out earlier in the week.
In the skit, which he posted a video of on YouTube, the comedian is seen in the studio with the "Bad" rapper discussing the upcoming project.
"This is the greatest day of my professional life," Wale said to the camera. "Got my favorite human being in the studio, telling jokes."
"He's a very wise person," the rapper continued about Seinfeld. "He's probably the richest person I know, so his perspective on everything is different. I love his insight. When you're in this rap community, the maximum is Jay-Z in terms of winning in life, but he's on another level of success outside of music so I love his perspective."
In 2008 Wale dropped "The Mixtape About Nothing" that served as an ode to his favorite TV show. The mixtape included a go-go version of the show's theme song, dialogue from the show and a "cameo-via-voicemail from Julia Louis Dreyfus" who plays Elaine on the show, the newspaper reports. In 2010, he followed the mixtape up by releasing "More About Nothing" mixtape which followed in the same "Seinfeld" theme.

The mixtape included a go-go version of the show's theme song, "couplets spun from the show's dialogue" and even a cameo-via-voice-mail from Julia Louis Dreyfus, who plays Elaine on the show.
In 2010, he followed up with "More About Nothing," another mixtape continuing in the same theme.
