Normally, every team has a few tough decisions to make when the offseason rolls around. Some productive veterans might be let go for salary cap purposes, some young players may be squeezed out of the picture, etc. It's not often, however, that a team must make two important decisions at the same position.

But that's the scenario facing the Green Bay Packers as cornerbacks Tramon Williams and Davon House are set to hit the open market.

"Me and Tramon are close, really close," House said. "So we always talk about it. In a perfect world, we both come back. But there's only two starting corners on each team. Tramon is well-deserving. I feel like my potential is pretty high. So we'll see, we'll see."

Williams, 31, may be a bit on the older side when it comes to free agents. But he's been phenomenal over the past two seasons and has only missed a single game in his eight year career. House, 25, has not yet grabbed a full-time starting gig in Green Bay, though the coaches like what they see from him.

"When healthy, he has been an ideal counterpunch to large, athletic receivers, the team's best option against Detroit's Calvin Johnson and Atlanta's Julio Jones," wrote Tyler Dunne of the Journal Sentinel. "...one concern with House - durability. Since his virtual redshirt rookie season in 2011, he has missed 10 games."

Williams could be looking for a multi-year deal that Green Bay just isn't willing to commit to given his age, while House believes he is ready to start, a sentiment possibly not shared by the Packers. It's possible, though not likely, that both players could be with new teams for the 2015 season.
