Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray won't be walking down the aisle after all. The couple, who met and fell in love on ABC's "The Bachelorette," released a joint statement on Thursday (Jan. 8) calling off their engagement.

"After several months of being engaged and working on our relationship, we have decided that it's best for both of us to go our separate ways," the statement read, according to People magazine. "We are very sad that it has come to this point, but this is what's best for both of us individually."

"We will continue to be good friends and have nothing but great things to say about each other and wish each other the best," the statement continued.

The couple have been engaged since May (the episode aired in July). On Monday at the premiere of Season 19 of "The Bachelor" with Chris Soules, Dorfman told People that wedding planning had been put on hold so that she and Murray could "make a little home in Atlanta and figure it out there."

The magazine claims that there were no signs of trouble and the couple was being very touchy-feely at the ABC special. According to E! News, when host Chris Harrison asked Murray and Dorfman about their wedding, both tried to dodge the question.

"We're looking forward to just settling down and relaxing and just having fun with each other," he said.

"Once you start planning, there's no stopping. I have to be ready to plan and he has to be ready to taste the food and drink the wine," Dorfman added.

A source told the site that even though the pair was lovey-dovey in front of the cameras, there was definitely tension between them behind the scenes. This is the second "Bachelor" breakup recently. Juan Pablo, star of Season 18, split from girlfriend and winner Nikki Ferrell in October.
