Justin Bieber might be a thing of the past for Selena Gomez. According to reports the "Come and Get It" singer has reportedly moved on from her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber. US Weekly reports that Gomez has been hooking up with British singer Ed Sheeran.
"They are hooking up!" a source told the magazine adding that they were set up by Gomez's best-friend Taylor Swift, who is currently touring with Sheeran.
According to US Weekly the "Lego House" singer told the magazine that he was single at the MuchMusic Video Awards just a couple days ago. When asked if he was dating the Bieber's ex he said "I wouldn't complain."
A second source said Gomez was attracted to the 22-year-old singer because he's a lot more mature than her ex.
"She's got sick of having to take care of Justin like he was her child. This is a nice escape from the drama," the source said adding that there is no way Gomez would get back with the "Boyfriend" singer.
"They are totally done... not even hooking up anymore," the source told US Weekly.
If the rumors are true and Gomez's gal pal Swift did in fact set them up it wouldn't come as that much of a surprise. The "22" singer has made it known that she is not a fan of Bieber's after he and Gomez ended their relationship. The last time they were seen together was backstage at the Billboard Music Awards on May 19 when the "Come and Get It" singer was spotted giving Bieber a kiss on the cheek. Swift was photographed sticking her tongue out with a look of complete disgust in her face.
Bieber reportedly has reached out to Gomez and offered his well-wishes to her after her mom gave birth to a baby girl. According to Hollywood Life, a source revealed that Bieber was happy for his ex-girlfriend and is now trying to figure out a gift to give her family.
"Justin knows the joy of younger siblings and is very happy for Selena and her mom. He wished Selena the best and is working on getting a gift," the source said.
The source added that if Gomez gives her ok Bieber wants to send her mom, Mandy, some flowers.
