After almost two years, Britney Spears has finally dropped a new solo single for the upcoming film "Smurfs 2" entitled "Ooh La La." During an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Spears opens up about the single and her upcoming album.
According to Billboard, when the pop princess sat down with Seacrest on his morning radio show, she revealed details behind her single and upcoming album.
"I think it doesn't really certainly mean a certain phrase or anything, but it's about feeling good," the 31-year old singer said. "Like you make me feel like 'ooh la la' like when a guy makes you giddy... it's more of a feeling."
Spears took a moment to update her fans on her upcoming album, which is slated to be released sometime this year.
"I want to definitely take this album and have a new approach with it and make it a little different than anything I've ever done," the singer said. "Will has a lot of really interesting different tracks that I've listened to that are really cool that I haven't actually written on yet, but there's a lot of guitar and I think people will be surprised with this album. It's gong to be really different."
Will.i.am will be an executive producer of her album. The duo teamed up late last year for his single "Scream & Shout" which climbed up to the number three spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
When exactly will fans be able to hear some new tunes from the "Toxic" singer?
"By the end of the year," Spears said.
"Ohh La La" is now available to be purchased on iTunes.
