After signing off from the Fox News Channel, a year ago Sarah Palin is returning to the network as the Fox News contributor.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, former Vice Presidential candidate Palin is returning to the network. Palin previously signed a three-year contract back in 2010 and decided not to return to the network in January 2013.
"The power of Fox News is unparalleled. The role of Fox News in the important debates in our world is indispensable," Palin said. "I am pleased and proud to be rejoining Roger Ailes and the great people at Fox."
Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes expressed his joy and happiness over the former Governor's decision to rejoin the network.
"I've had several conversations with Governor Palin in the past few weeks about her rejoining Fox News as a contributor," Ailes said. "I have great confidence in her and am pleased that she will once again add her commentary to our programming. I hope she continues to speak her mind."
Palin's will make her first appearance on "Fox & Friends" on June 17. Palin will contribute to both the Fox News Channel and Fox News Business Channel.
Palin's previous departure was due to the former Governor unhappiness at the network. Palin even turned to Facebook to express her feelings.
"I'm sorry Fox canceled all my scheduled interviews tonight because I sure wanted to take the opportunity on the air to highlight Senator John McCain's positive contributions to America, to honor him, and to reflect on what a biased media unfairly put him through four years ago tonight," The former vice presidential candidate said, referring to Paul Ryan's speech at the Republican National Convention.
Following the 2008 elections, the 49-year old released two books, "Going Rogue" and "America By Heart," both which went on to best sellers and starred on her own TV show "Sarah Palin's Alaska."
