Seth Rogen Disses His Movie With Barbra Streisand; Actor Says 'The Guilt Trip' Was For 'Airplanes Only'

Actor Seth Rogen admitted he did not like the movie "The Guilt Trip", which he co-starred opposite Barbra Streisand according to E Online.

The movie received negative reviews and Rogen agreed they were justified.

"There are OK performances but the cast are better than this," said Roz Laws from the Birmingham Post. "Very occasionally it's vaguely amusing, but it's mostly just annoying or cringe worthy."

According to Rotten Tomatoes, only 42 percent of the audience enjoyed "The Guilt Trip."

"We shot that movie in the format that plays on airplanes only," he told comedian Doug Benson on "Doug Loves Movies." "They were like, 'Talk loud because the engine will be roaring. You've got to talk over the engine; there's announcements early on in the flights. You've got to take that into consideration.'"

Rogen is known for his comedic personality, so he could just be joking around. Streisand hasn't responded to Rogen's comments.

During the interview, Rogen also revealed his distaste for other films he has co-wrote and played in. The actor co-wrote "The Green Hornet" with Evan Goldberg. He also starred in the film he calls the "perfect storm of bad s**t happening" with Jay Chou and Cameron Diaz.

"We were making it for American and China at the same time," Goldberg said.

"We shouldn't make expensive movies where he can't just do a million dick jokes," Rogan added. "That's what we've learned over the years. That's our strength. Play to your strengths."

Both Rogen and Goldberg star "This Is The End" which is currently in North American theaters. According to Dawn, the duo wanted to challenge "the boundaries of comedy" and have all actors play themselves in a fictional end-of-the-world plot.

"It always seemed weird for all of us to all be in a movie and not acknowledge that we all somehow knew each other, because we've been in so many movies together already," Rogen said. "To me it was almost distracting that we didn't play ourselves. We've never seen it in a movie done like this, so it was exciting."
