Kim Kardashian might have succeeded in "breaking the internet," because all week the reality star has been the subject of endless conversation... good and bad. The 34-year-old "Keeping up with the Kardashians" star posed nude for Paper Magazine, with the first batch of photos released on Tuesday.

In one photo, Kardashian flaunted a flawless booty and in a second image she skillfully balanced a champagne glass on her butt. On Wednesday, Paper released more pictures this time showing the E! star completely nude from the front.

After the initial shock of the photos, a large majority of fans questioned whether the photos had been digitally altered before being released and now alleged "untouched" photos from the Paper shoot have found their way online.

It's not clear where the photos originated but they are being circulated on social media sites. In the images, Kardashian has a wider waist, dimples, stretch marks and a flatter butt. According to TMZ, Paper magazine slammed the photos as "fakes," but editorial director Mickey Boardman did admit to US Weekly that the pictures were retouched a little bit.

"Every cover of every magazine is airbrushed on some level," he told the magazine. "But what I will say is that it's her butt. It is not padded. It is not augmented. That is all really her. But, yes, there was some retouching to clean things up and make things look amazing. That's what retouching is. It's not building an ass that isn't there or taking 50 pounds off the waist."

Boardman added that her butt was simply "oiled up" and famed photographer Jean-Paul Goude "is a genius with lighting."

According to the Daily Mail, Goude told a close friend in Paris, "I am very proud of what they represent - yes there is meant to be humor in the pictures, but above all they are very artistic."
