Britney Spears Forced Boyfriend to Sign Confidentiality Agreement? Charlie Ebersol Banned from Commenting on Romance

In order to date Britney Spears, there's one thing a guy must be willing to do: sign a confidentiality agreement. According to TMZ, the "Toxic" singer's current love Charlie Ebersol had to sign an NDA before he could even meet Spears.

Sources told the site that Spears' dad, Jamie Spears, arranged the whole thing. Reportedly, Ebersol didn't find the request odd because he already knew that people close to the singer must sign a confidentiality agreement.

TMZ also reports that there is a "severe" punishment for those who violate the terms. Even though Ebersol, 31, isn't allowed to dish on the romance, Spears confirmed the relationship to "Extra."

"Yes, there is a special someone. It's very new," the 32-year-old said.

A source told E! News that Spears and Ebersol met through mutual friends and everyone seems to like him.

"He is the sweetest guy and they are very much enjoying getting to know one another. They are both very happy and having fun," the source said. "It's just the beginning so no idea if it will become serious but right now they are having a lot of fun together."

In August, the "Perfume" singer split from boyfriend David Lucado after 18-months of dating. At the time, TMZ reported that Lucado was caught on video messing around with another woman. Sources told the site that the video was being shopped around Hollywood but Jamie bought it to spare his daughter the embarrassment
