Oppo made its latest flagship N3 smartphone official at a special launch event in Singapore, revealing detailed specs, features and price.

Oppo, the Chinese smartphone brand, is expanding its lineup with the all-new N3 smartphone launched at an event in Singapore. With the latest entry, it is clear that Oppo will continue with its rotating camera. The Chinese smartphone maker has made several improvements compared to last year's N1 smartphone by upping the internal specs and improving the features. Few notable changes in the N3 include a fingerprint scanner and a cool motorized camera.

The launch of Oppo N3 comes after a series of speculations and rumors about the device's features. For most part, the unofficial information matches closely to the real product. The N3 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage with microSD expansion and room for a single SIM card, according to its official product listing. The display size measures 5.5-inch diagonally but uses a Full HD 1080p panel instead of a 2K display. But Oppo is focusing on the camera of the N3.

According to Engadget's review of the smartphone, N3 sports a motorized rotatable 16-megapixel camera. The motorized feature refers to the auto-rotation of the camera with a simple touch or activating Auto-Panorama, which captures the surroundings by rotating itself. The camera can rotate up to 206 degrees and can be controlled with a new O-Click Bluetooth remote, which can perform other operations remotely. Oppo has added several new camera modes such as slow shutter, ultra macro mode and HD Picture, which takes images at 64-megapixels, among others.

The trending fingerprint scanner is also added to the back of the N3 smartphone. Once registered, the device recognizes the user's finger and unlocks the device and it can also be used to scroll up and down the screen by sliding the finger over the touch pad.

The Oppo N3 has a 3,000mAh battery, which can be charged using VOOC rapid charging to get 0-75 percent in just 30 minutes. The handset runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box with Oppo's Color 2.0 UI on it. The support for 4G LTE high-speed internet is also added in N3.

Oppo will launch the smartphone in 20 markets by the end of November for a $649 price tag.
