All but one of the members from the former all girl group Danity Kane reunited in Los Angeles according to Us Weekly.
Dawn Richard, Aubrey O'Day, Aundrea Fimbres, and Shannon Bex were in attendance, D. Woods was not. It's been reported that Woods was unaware of the reunion was taking place but the group says she was invited.
"We asked D.Woods to come but then again everybody has their place and their time and that's okay," Richardson said in an interview. "I think it was great for us to meet and there's love all around. We're too grown for it not to be. What the focus needs to be on is not who didn't show up, but the fact that after six years, the monumental response that came from it."
According to Us Weekly, the group dismantled after "O'day was kicked out of the group" after arguing with manager Sean "P.Didddy" Combs over her promiscuous behavior. The break up was also credit to the music mogul favoring Richardson. Danity Kane's development and demise was documented on MTV's "Making The Band."
Despite the group breaking up on bad terms, the women were able to enjoy each other presence and move forward.
"We ate, we walked out and we didn't realize how powerful it was," Richardson said. "We had no clue and I think we never realized it. We were so busy trying to be great and have our focus and have our business together that I don't think we got it."
Richardson claims there's no hard feelings felt due to Woods absence.
"D.Woods is great. Let the girl be," she said. "Whatever people choose, let them live in their moment. If they feel like they be queen, let them live Like, that's okay to say, 'No'."
