The Bachelorette Recap: Des Continues to Look For Love For 'All the Right Reasons (VIDEO)

Since there are still so many hot men to choose from in Season 9 of ABC's "The Bachelorette," they all had to make Des know that they are all there for her, in a music video.

"I'm here for you girl for all the right reasons," the song's chorus proclaimed.

Apparently Des, this season's Bachelorette needs to hear that, through a bad attempt at a rap video - and sang it over and over again throughout the two-hour episode. The group date found the guys professing their commitment to Des while filming a provocative video.

But what's with all the fur blankets? A two-hour second week of "The Bachelorette" was full of Des being covered in a blanket not only during the vidoe, but for each on each one-on-one conversation, cuddling up to whomever asks to have a chat. But Des is looking for love, and looking fast.

"From what I've seen there are a lot f guys who are marriage material," she tells the cameras.

After going on a one-on-one with Brooks, the group date ensues where participants awkwardly muscle through a rap video, all about Des and being there for the right reasons. Fast forward to the real conversations.

Zac known thus far in the season for his rock hard abs, shows the marriage hopeful his softer side when he gives Des a journal he bought from a local antique shop. The Drilling Fluid Engineer from Texas is showing he will make effort, for the right reasons.

Brandon, the emotionally attached softy says "Love is like a butterfly and he not going to squish it." early on. But as he gets more and more jealous, he decides to be more aggressive ‘"She's absolutely perfect, she's an angel." During a private conversation with Des, he says, "I'm not ivy league" and airs out his past of having an absent father and a drug addict mother. He says he was forced to raise his sister and looks forward to having a family of his own.

But even after Brandon's heartfelt confessions, he was not awarded an immediate pass, but was told by Des, "You owned it today."

It was Ben, the guy who says you go after the girl, sweet talks the Bachelorette with talks of his son Freddy and a couch make-out session who ultimately wins Des over because he "used his time wisely. Ben gets an automatic pass through the rose ceremony on to the next round, early on in the game.

But Mikey T. is not buying his sentiment, and the plumbing contractor calls Ben for what he sees early on and says he is not genuine, talking to him face-to-face. Saying he does not trust him and sees him as a politician, Ben quickly diverts his attention by commenting him on his shoes.

Bryden gets the one on one date later in the episode, when the two take a road trip up the California coastline in a baby-blue Bentley. The trip ends with a rose in hand for Bryden and an awkward hot-tub moment leading to a kiss.

"Just kiss me already," a forward Des told the military man who had told her stories of a life-changing car accident earlier in the date.

But the girl who said road trips were a large part of her childhood, told cameras post-date, "This is the best road trip I think I've ever had." Keeping the childhood theme prevalent, she also told the hunky Bryden she hadn't laughed that much in a long time, like when she was a little kid.
As the rose ceremony approaches, the bachelors weigh in, with Brian saying to cameras, "It's not the fight to fall in love, it's the fight for time."

The charming Ben may be starting to show his true colors when he interrupts Michael G. during his conversation with Des as he is trying to explain to her about his Type I Diabetes diagnosis. The fact that Ben already had a rose at this point, further infuriated the rest of the guys in the house. After some dramatic interactions, Brian sneaks away to get his time, lifting Des up to carry her over the threshold outside of the house.

And in the end, drama prevailed. The rose ceremony brought Des keeping her romantic side by giving Juan Pablo a rose as she spoke in Spanish and making Mikey and Brandon sweat it out until the end.

The three who went home:

Banker Will who says his demise was that he put himself "too far in to the friend zone."

Robert , the advertising entrepreneur who said, even after only a week with the Bachelorette, that being sent home was an "absolute nightmare"

Nick M., the investment advisor who said heartbreak is "like a pit in your stomach."

Looks like the ride will be long, even despite a fun road trip in this episode for Des. Teases to next week's wild west theme don't show things calming down anytime soon, especially with a Bachelor's girlfriend showing up, saying that she is still in a relationship with one of the Des hopefuls. But maybe getting to rap with Soulja Boy as the credits rolled, made the Bachelorette feel a little more gangsta and tough enough to tackle the rest of the series.
