New York Giants Vs. Washington Redskins Live Radio Broadcast: NFL Thursday Night (LISTEN)

The New York Giants play the Washington Redskins on Thursday. Kickoff is at 8:25 p.m. ET. Listen to the live radio broadcast via the links provided below.

Both teams head into Thursday's game with a 1-2 record and looking to get a leg up in the NFC East. The story for New York has been the Giants' struggling offense, which took a step in the right direction last week with a 30-17 win over the Houston Texans. While the passing game is still a work in progress, New York's running game was in full swing behind tailback Rashad Jenning's career-high 176 rushing yards.

"Keep running and keep pounding," said Giants quarterback Eli Manning, via ESPN. "One point we ran the same play three times in a row. They were rolling. They liked it."

Washington, meanwhile, is coming off a close 37-34 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Kirk Cousins has filled in nicely for injured quarterback Robert Griffin III, who's sidelined for the next couple weeks with a dislocated ankle. Cousins hasn't missed a step, though, and could surpass 1,000 passing yards Thursday night against the visiting Giants.

His strong performance so far has already planted the seed of a potential quarterback controversy once Griffin returns. Cousins has looked more fluid and more comfortable in the offense of first-year coach Jay Gruden, who admitted his only concern right now is getting the team ready to play on a short week.

"Obviously this is a week that I would rather not have a Thursday night game," Gruden said, referring to the 17 players he has listed on the injury report.

Giants coach Tom Coughlin said the shortened week forced him to change his normal routine of practices during the week.

"Really the field work is minimal," he said. "We want them to see everything but we don't want a lot of extortion in terms of ... I want them to move around enough to help the soreness, work the soreness out."
