Bruce Jenner, stepfather to Kim Kardashian, said he hasn't spent much time with Kanye West.
"Actually, I've only met him once," Jenner told "Extra" during an interview ahead of Kim's baby shower Sunday, according to NY Daily News. "He's never... he's not around. He was in Paris the whole time writing and he just hasn't been around."
The rapper, who is father to Kardashian's unborn child, did not appear in the season premiere of the family's reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" Sunday.
The episode showed Kardashian's at a doctor's appointment where she discovers the sex of the baby. Kanye was reportedly in attendence at Kim's baby shower Sunday, making a fashionably late appearance later in the day.
The couple's baby girl is due in July. Reports have said West will be on tour at this time and that Kardashian plans to take the new baby on tour with the 35-year-old rapper. Sunday's season premiere of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" showed the house the couple purchased together. The show also showed Kim's mom Kris Jenner making plans for a nursery in her house. The Kardashian/Jenner family is planning lots of support for Kim and her future bundle of joy.
Sunday's episode also showed Kris and Bruce enner in a situation where Bruce thought he should have his own "man cave" outside of the Kardashian home. He rented a Malibu bachelor pad but soon returned home to Kris who missed him and ended the episode by serving her husband of 22 years a home-cooked meal of dishes the couple ate on their first date.
Throughout the episode Bruce assured the family there were no plans of a separation, but that the two were trying to figure out the best options to stay sane.
