Burger King: Hands-Free Whopper Created To Celebrate Company's 50 Anniversary (VIDEO)

Burger King gave away 50 hands-free Whopper holders according to Fox News. The hands-free device was created in celebration of the fast food chain's 50 anniversary. It's a white device that consumers can place the burger into its designated pouch and then place the device around their neck. The burger sits directly in front of the consumer's mouth but leaves little breathing room.

The hands-free Whopper devices was given away in Puerto Rico. The commercial announcing the convenient device show happy Burger King customers enjoying every day activities and even tattooing while eating the burger with no effort. The commercial does not speak offer for the device to be purchased or if it would be a complimentary limited gift at local Burger Kings.

"In a wold of multitasking, how can you use your hands to do your daily activities and eat a Whopper at the same time?," is written in Spanish as the opening line of the commercial.

The commercial comes just days after McDonald's has been accused by a 9-year-old, Hannah Robinson, of tricking children into unhealthy eating.

"Something that I don't think is fair is when big companies try to trick kids into eating food that isn't good for them by using toys and cartoon character's," said Robinson at a shareholders meeting in Illinois.

According to the Huffington Post, Don Thompson, the CEO of MCDonald's, defended the company and ensured the child that healthy options are on the McDonald's menu but aren't the companies best sellers. "First off, we don't sell junk food, Hannah. We sell a lot of fruits and veggies at McDonald's and we are trying to sell even more," said Thompson.

Nutritional policies within fast food restaurants have always been an issue and Burger King's new hands-free, calorie filled promotion may heat up the discussion.
