Evelyn Lozada made a high schooler's dream come true by accompanying him to his senior prom according to TMZ. Anthony Nelson asked the author and "Basketball Wives" star via Twitter last year if she would be his prom date and when the time came, Lozada honored his request sporting a long red dress and a smile.
"Unfortunately, I couldn't attend my prom when I was in high school because I was pregnant with my daughter Shaniece, but this was such an awesome experience and I was so honored. I want to thank Anthony and his mom Sean Nelson for opening their home to me! Anthony's entire family and friend came by his house to see him off to prom and it was amazing, he even bought me a corsage!!! Ive never had a corsage! You guys don't understand how HAPPY I was!! My date was decked out in a custom made tuxedo and black Chanel shoes look handsome as ever," Lozada wrote on her blog.
According to TMZ, Lozada paid for the pair's transportation to the venue and a fancy after-prom dinner. It has been reported that Lozada and Nelson even danced the night away.
Lozada has been laying low since she told the world she was assaulted by now ex-husband Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson. The two ended their 40-day marriage when Lozada says her husband head butted her one evening during a heated discussion. Since the divorce, the two tried to explore the possibility of reconciling shortly after Johnson got the realty star's face tattooed on his leg. To his dismay, the friendship ended abruptly and Lozada has vowed to never speak to him again.
No word on if Lozada is accepting any more prom invitations but Anthony seemed to be elated that he was the first to ever take the star to prom.
