In Concho County Texas a gunman randomly fired out of the window of a pickup truck on Sunday, killing one person and wounding five, the Christian Science Monitor reported.
The 23-year-old gunman, whose name has been withheld pending notification of relatives, was then killed by police fire in shootout with a Highway Patrol trooper and game warden who arrived to assist the sheriff.
The victim who was fatally wounded has been identified as 41 year-old Alicia Torres, who was shot while in her car.
