"50 Shades of Grey" movie cast rumors are still swirling since no official announcement has been made yet. There has been quite a bit of buzz on who should play the young, innocent Anastasia Steel in the movie. There are some fan favorites that have been tons of buzz like Alexis Bledel. So far the "Gilmore Girls" star seems to be the No. 1 contender for the role of Steele, but there are several other brunette beauties that have been making a considerable amount of buzz for the roles. We scoured the internet for some of the most interesting and talked about stars to play Ana.
Emilia Clarke
This "Game of Thrones" star definitely can pull off the college-girl, innocent look. With big blue eyes and long, dark hair she has the look of Steele spot on. IBTimes describes the actress as "both innocent and sweet yet has the potential to be extremely bad ass." It has even been reported that Clarke has beat out other notable actresses like Felicity Jones, Alexis Bledel and Emma Watson in web polls.
Minka Kelly
Miinka Kelly was in "Friday Night Lights" and "The Roommate." A 32, she's considerably older than Steele's character but she does not look her age and could pass for a college student. In "The Roommate" she played a college student living with a crazy, psycho roommate. She has the look for Steele, except for the big, blue eyes. That could pose a problem.
Bella Heathcote
Bella Heathcote starred alongside Johnny Depp in "Dark Shadows" and has big blue eyes, delicate features that could also work well to play Steele. Some fans even point out she has a striking resemblance to fan favorite Bledel but is closer to Steele's age at 24. One fan however said the actress was "almost too pretty" saying that her face is too "model-esque for the role.
