Amanda Bynes Arrested Update: Actress Released From Jail; Court Hearing Set for July

Actress Amanda Bynes left a New York City courtroom early Friday afternoon after being arrested Thursday night for throwing her bong out of the window of her apartment and tampering with evidence.

TMZ reports that Bynes told the judge the bong was "just a vase." The prosecutors requested Bynes be held on $1,000 bail, but the judge decided to let the actress go, but warned her not to miss her July court hearing or an arrest warrant would be issued.

Bynes left the courtroom soon after with a swarm of paparazzi outside.

The news website also obtained a criminal complaint from the incident which indicates the 27-year old was smoking marijuana. Officers went to her apartment where they found a bong on her kitchen counter. When asked about the bong, Bynes apparently lost it.

The cop said that he "observed [Amanda] grab said bong, run to the westbound-facing window, and throw it out the window where numerous pedestrians were walking on the 8 Avenue and West 47 Street sidewalks below."

Recently, it was reported that Bynes' parents were seeking conservatorship over Bynes but that it was too difficult to acquire because she had not met the criteria.

Police arrested Bynes Thursday night at her New York City apartment and was taken to Roosevelt hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.

The "Hairspray" star has been the center of attention from posting nude pictures of herself on Twitter and threatening to sue magazines and websites over false reports.
