Former child star, Amanda Bynes, was arrested in her New York City apartment Thursday night for marijuana possession, reckless endangerment and tampering with evidence, TMZ reports.
Christopher Pisano, a New York police spokesman told CNN that cops were called to the building after the building manager reported that the 27-year-old was smoking an "illegal substance" in the lobby.
TMZ also reports that Bynes was "acting erratically and talking to herself."
When police arrived at her door, Bynes supposedly let them in but after cops spotted a bong sitting on her coffee table, she grabbed it and threw it out her window.
Bynes was then arrested and witnesses told TMZ she went ballistic, yelling "Don't you know who I am?" at the cops.
The celebrity news site was able to get a video of Bynes with her hands cuffed behind wearing a blonde platinum wig. She kept her head down and did not answer any questions from reporters as she was put into the police van.
Sources also told TMZ that she was briefly taken to a hospital for psychiatric evaluation and then to the station for booking.
Late Thursday night, she was removed from the station and taken to night court where she is reportedly still being held waiting for a judge.
Tampering with evidence is considered a felony. Bynes other two charges are misdemeanors.
This has been a tumultuous year for Bynes. In April of 2012, she was booked for suspicion of driving under the influence after she got into a fender bender with a marked police car.
After the incident she tweeted President Barack Obama asking him to fire the cop who arrested her. Earlier this year, Bynes was sentenced to three years probation for driving on a suspended license and recently the former actress has been receiving attention over naked Twitter photos and strange tweets.
