Carrie Underwood to Join Taylor Swift to Perform at CMT Awards 2013

And the list keeps getting bigger...

Carrie Underwood has been confirmed as a performer at this year's CMT Awards.

The country sweetheart, who was also just announced as the new "Sunday Night Football" theme song singer, joins Keith Urban and Lady Antebellum as the latest additions to the show's performance roster. Taylor Swift, Hunter Hayes, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Pistol Annies, Darius Rucker, Florida Georgia Line, George Strait and Jason Aldean were previously announced to perform.

Aldean, is set to host the awards show with Kristen Bell. The night will be broadcast live 8 p.m. June 5 from The Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn. on the CMT Network. A star-studded red carpet broadcast will begin 7 p.m. Fans can vote for their favorite artists in select award categories now at cmt.com.

Nominations announced earlier this month have Miranda Lambert, Luke Byran and Eric Church leading the pack with four nominations each.

Following not far behind are Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts and Florida Georgia Line with three nominations apiece. Meanwhile Underwood, Paisley, Hayes, Jana Kramer, Journey, Kacey Musgraves, Little Big Town, Swift and McGraw have earned two nominations each.

Online voting for the awards continues through midnight June 2 for all categories minus the Video of the Year award. Voting for the Video of the Year category will be allowed during the show, according to the network. Nominees for the big category include:
