R&B singer Miguel gave an indelible performance on Sunday during the 2013 Billboard Music Awards that two fans in particular won't soon forget.
Miguel decided to take a leap in the middle of performing his single, "Adorn." He took a few steps back to give himself running room, then bolted across the stage and jumped over the audience pit.
He didn't quite make it, and two women paid for it.
It looked reminiscent of a WWE leg drop from the top ropes. Miguel's left foot hit Lady No. 1 in the right side of the head, while his crotch knocked Lady No. 2 into the stage. Lady No. 1 looked pained, staggered and apparently fell; Lady No. 2 recovered, resumed dancing and even got a hug from the 27-year-old singer, who sang through the whole gaffe without skipping a note.
After the performance, Miguel tweeted:
Billboard posted online a photo of a smiling Miguel and lady with an ice pack backstage. All parties escaped without any serious injuries, and the two fans walked away with a story to tell on Monday.
