Cristiano Ronaldo poses nude while his girlfriend Irina Shayk wears a sexy white gown as they cover the June issue of Vogue Spain
Cristiano Ronaldo in the nude for Vogue! The hunky soccer player is the cover boy for the magazine's Spain edition with girlfriend Irina Shayk.
While the soccer star is completely nude, supermodel Shayk wears a stunning white strapless gown with a slit up the thigh. Ronaldo is seen posing with his hands on his hips and his stance wide with his supermodel love standing in front of him, offering just a peek at his inner thigh and keeping the cover from becoming X-rated. With his eyebrows well-manicured and his face close-shaven, Ronaldo wears just a diamond stud earring in his ear.
The cover was shot by fashion photographer Mario Testino. The picture is captioned "Amor & Fútbol," or "Love and Soccer."
Ronaldo is currently out of play due to an injury he sustained during Real Madrid's 1-1 game with Valladolid, May 7, 2014. He hasn't played a single game since then. The team has arrived in Portugal ahead of Saturday's all Spanish Champions League final against Atletico Madrid.
Though it hasn't been confirmed whether the 29-year-old forward is fit enough to play, Ronaldo assured his fans that he will play in the finals on Saturday.
"It was bad luck that I've had all these problems over the close of the season. It's normal at the end of the season," the Portugal international said, according to CBC News. "Nobody wants to miss a final with such high expectations that we have been vying to reach for years I want to help Real Madrid win it. I'm confident I'll be 100 per cent for the final."
With his recent cover appearance, Ronaldo became one of the only five men who have covered the fashion bible. However, in all five instances, the men have been paired with their lady love. Only recently did Vogue feature Kim Kardashian and Kanye West in their controversial April issue cover. This is also not the first time a man has appeared stark naked on the cover of the magazine.
In 2000, singer Robbie Williams appeared naked on the magazine cover, paired with model Gisele Bundchen, who wore a Union flag bikini.
