Zack Snyder gave "Batman vs. Superman" fans a treat when he released the first two official images from the upcoming sequel to "Man of Steel." He dropped the pictures on Twitter without warning after months and months of anticipation.

In the first picture, Snyder gave fans a sneak peek of the Batmobile and in the second photo, he revealed Ben Affleck as Batman standing next to the Batmobile. A clever fan and YouTube user, used those two images to create a teaser trailer for "Man of Steel 2," Comicbook.com reports. (You can check out the clip plus our top 3 fan-made trailers below).

In related news, Gal Gadot teased a Wonder Woman reveal on her Facebook page. On May 12 the Israeli actress posted that she was having a "busy, busy week." She then added, "Let's have a WONDERful week everyone!"

Her comment could mean absolutely nothing but her emphasis on "WONDER" has us thinking (and hoping) that her big costume reveal could be happening any day now. Not long after Gadot posted the message, Snyder tweeted a picture of the Batmobile. The next day, he posted the first photo of Affleck in the cape and cowl.

It was previously rumored that Wonder Woman would get a new look for the movie. According to Latino Review's El Mayimbe, Gadot's costume will consist of armor.

"Gal Gadot's WONDER WOMAN outfit will consist of ARMOR. Not the Lynda Carter itty bitty outfit. I hear it looks dope," he posted on Twitter back in January.

At the time, Yahoo Movies reported that it has long been a dream of film and TV executives to modernize Wonder Woman's look.
