The twelfth season of American idol began its finale week last night with the top two contestants - Candice Glover and Kree Harrison fighting to take home the title. A shocking elimination last week sent Angie Miller home. Last night, Candice and Kree sang their way through three rounds and both of them won the hearts of the judges and the audience. So who do you think sounded better and deserves to win?

For the first round, contestants had to sing a song Simon Fuller picked for them. Fuller chose "Angel" for Kree. The song is a super-slow version and Kree sang it beautifully. Candice sang "Chasing Pavements" and though judge Randy Jackson was not overwhelmed with both the first performances, he gave the first round to Candice.

For the next round, contestants had to choose a song they would sing if they won. Kree chose "All Cried Out" and received a standing ovation for her performance from all judges except Nicki Minaj. Candice chose to sing "I Am Beautiful" and both Keith Urban and Minaj said they were pleased with both song choices of this round.

For the last round, contestants were asked to sing their favorites from the season. Kree chose "Up to the Mountain," a song she performed at Las Vegas and wowed the judges with her vocals. According to them, her last performance was her best. Candice chose "I Who Have Nothing" which the judges called the best performance of the night. The pitch was perfect and the vocals flawless.

According to comments and polls available online, Candice seems to be the audience's favorite after last night's performances.
