Kim Kardashian seems to be having the time of her life as they days get closer to her becoming 32nd birthday. What Kardashian thought could be one of the worst things happening to her, may in fact turn out to be the best.
According to Ryan Seacrest, who is the producer for "Keeping up with the Kardashians," Kardashian asked boyfriend Kanye West for an engagement ring for her birthday.
"I think we could definitely see an update on this story on Monday," the Daily Mail quoted Seacrest as saying on his KIIS radio show.
Meanwhile, a source close to the couple said that West has been thinking about proposing to Kardashian for some time.
"It's only a matter of time before Kanye pops the question," the insider said. "They are madly in love with one another and as far as Kanye is concerned he wants to spend the rest of his life with Kim. It's just a case of making sure the ring is perfect because she's his princess."
Updating her 16-million plus Twitter followers on Friday, Kardashian posted this message:
"I got whisked away to Rome for a birthday week surprise!" Kardashian exclaimed, showing off some photos of her and West out and about. "I'm wearing a green Lanvin dress and Tom Ford heels and accessories. I love this dress! I'm really loving this deep emerald green color at the moment, what do you think?"
"Kim has been really down about turning 32 and having two failed marriages behind her and no children, so he wants to make this extra-special," a source told The Sun. "Kanye has never been shy of splashing out on the women he loves, but this time he's pulling out all the stops with presents. Plus it's her first birthday since they've been together as a couple."
"When in Rome...," Kardashian hinted to her Twitter followers early Friday. She then revealed a part of her birthday plans on her blog.
Earlier, Kardashian revealed she wanted the iPhone 5 for her birthday.
"See the thing is, my boyfriend, he has such good taste that I don't need to tell him," NDTV quoted Kardashian. "Before I would be like, 'OK, this is what I want.' Maybe I want an iPhone 5. I kind of want that."
