Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, 26, is expecting her second child with fiancé Jionni LaValle, 27, and sources close to the couple have revealed the due date.
Hollywood Life reports Polizzi is expecting her second baby in October. The "Jersey Shore" hasn't announced the sex of her child, but he or she will have big brother Lorenzo to look after her, who will be turning two-years-old on Aug. 26.
Polizzi announced on April 4 she was expecting her second child on her official blog. The reality star also used her blog to address the headlines that came with reports of her pregnancy. Polizzi was outraged by some of the reports claiming her fiancé was unfaithful or leaving her.
"[Jionni is] my best friend and I'm his," Polizzi wrote. "We're sorry that some weirdo had to make up a story to sell to try and ruin us, but honey we are very secure in our relationship and I know and trust my man, he wouldn't hurt me or our family. He's a real man."
Polizzi expressed particular disgust in writers who would site sources claiming she would hide her pregnancy to keep her public appearances.
"Headlines reading that I'm hiding my pregnancy because I don't want to jeopardize 'appearances' is so far from the truth. Who pulls this s*** out of their a** anyway? Just because I'm pregnant means I can't work? Fail," Polizzi wrote in the blog.
"I've read a lot of negativity concerning my second pregnancy, and I NEVER comment on what strangers think about my life, but when it concerns my family, something needs to be said," she added. "I'm a momma bear and I will stick up for my family until the day I die, and even after that."
