Rob Kardashian has reportedly checked into rehab for depression and substance abuse, Star magazine reports. A source told the gossip magazine that Kardashian is currently being treated at The Meadows trauma and addiction center in Arizona.

The 27-year-old reality TV star has been struggling to lose weight since splitting from British singer Rita Ora in 2012. Star claims that Kardashian's weight problems are not just from overeating but also from smoking marijuana, drinking alcohol and allegedly taking prescription cough syrup.

"Rob has been checked into The Meadows for about a month for substance-abuse issues," a source told the magazine.

"He's been feeling stronger and more relaxed without the incessant breathing from everyone," the source added. "I would love to see him show up a changed man at Kim [Kardashian]'s wedding and gain some independence."

According to Radar Online, the sock designer reached out to Khloe Kardashian's ex-husband Lamar Odom for help. The source told Radar that Kardashian had completely cut himself off from his family and friends but had recently reached out to Odom.

There were reports that Odom struggled with his own alleged drug problems which contributed to his divorce. The reports of Kardashian checking into rehab come just a few weeks after the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star posted a sad and cryptic message on Twitter. On Apr. 1, he tweeted "No one will ever understand how much it hurts." The post was later deleted.

He also deleted everything from his Instagram account and replaced it with a single post that read, "April Fools prank: replace all the sugar in your house with cocaine."

Kardashian has been on a mission to shed some weight but a source told US Weekly that the E! star barely showed up to his personal training sessions.

"The family is very concerned about him," the source said.

According to a previous report by US Weekly (via Realitytvmagazine.com), he is planning on moving back in with Khloe to help get his life back on track

Update: A rep for Kardashian told E! News that "Rob is not in rehab." Another source also told the site that reality star has been working out with a trainer and is taking his weight loss journey very seriously.
