Barbie and Ken just can't seem to get along. Justin Jedlica, who has earned the nickname "Human Ken" for his striking resemblance to the Mattel doll, is once again dissing Human Barbie Valeria Lukyanova. In an interview with GQ, Jedlica called the Ukrainian model uninteresting and said she was not fake enough.
"I don't really get here," he told GQ. "I don't get why people think she's so interesting. She has extensions. She wears stage makeup. She's an illusionist."
Jedlica has admitted in interviews that he has had over 140 cosmetic procedures to look like Ken but has gone on record comparing Lukyanova to a "drag queen" that simply plays dress up. Last year during an interview with the Daily Mail, the New York native publicly attacked Lukyanova and dressed up in drag to show people that anyone can look like a Barbie doll and there was nothing special about the model.
"Valeria presents herself as a real-life Barbie doll, but she is nothing more than an illusion who dresses like a drag queen," he told the Daily Mail. "Unlike me, who has spent nearly $150,000 permanently transforming myself into a human Ken doll, Valeria just plays dress up."
There were reports that Lukyanova was an imposter and photoshopped her photos. TheDirty.com published pictures of the model without any makeup on and pointed out how different she looks. There were also rumors that she had some type of surgical procedure in order to maintain her teeny, tiny waist.
Lukyanova responded to the claims on her Facebook page saying that she was "happy I seem unreal. It means I'm doing a good job."
Recently the Ukrainian model ruffled some feathers when she made controversial comments on how "race-mixing" has led to degeneration and more people wanting to get plastic surgery to fix their imperfections.
