Justin Bieber's pop heartthrob reign may be coming to a close, according to Public Policy Polling results released Thursday.
The poll showed Bieber was voted least favorite artist by Americans. Democrats, Republicans and Independents cast their opinions via telephone interviews.
The consensus on the disapproval for Bieber stretched party lines, which was not true in other categories.
But Bieber did beat out Chris Brown and Rihanna when voters were asked who they liked to see as president. The winner in that category, Justin Timberlake. As for Brown and Rihanna's relationship, only 8 percent of voters say that Rihanna should get back together with Brown as compared to 67 percent who say she should not.
Classical music, country, jazz, pop, R&B and rock music were among the most favored music categories among voters. Rap and dubstep were among the least favorable of listed genres. When voting on "today's popular music," opinions were split. Voters gave a 45 percent favorable rating, 37 percent unfavorable rating and 19 percent were unsure.
When voters were asked to give their thoughts on one rapper's name chances, they generally agreed on one title. Given the choice between Snoop Doggy Dogg, Snoop Dogg and Snoop Lion, participants agreed that the veteran rapper should stick with Snoop Dogg.
The survey comes on the heels of a Bieber being the subject of an onstage rush by a Belieber in Dubai.
