"Star Wars: Episode 7" could be revisiting a familiar setting location as filming is set to begin this May.

In March, the production confirmed shooting will begin in Pinewood Studios in a news release, but didn't reveal any off site filming locations:

Disney and Lucasfilm are excited to announce that principal photography on Star Wars: Episode VII, directed by J.J. Abrams, will commence May 2014, and will be based at London's historic Pinewood Studios.

This will be the first Star Wars film to start shooting in the month of May. Lucasfilm has documented the first day of principal photography for every installment of the Star Wars saga.

However, CinemaBlend reports scenes from the upcoming installment will allegedly be filmed on location at Iceland.  Though the "Star Wars" production has not confirmed the location rumor, many reports are speculating it will be the setting for Hoth.

The first time fans saw Hoth in the "Star Wars" franchise was in the "Empire Strikes Back" installment.  Still, the production hasn't confirmed Hoth will be making an appearance in the movie franchise, again.

The "Star Wars: Episode 7" production also confirmed plot details relating to the upcoming film.

"It has also been confirmed that Star Wars: Episode VII is set about 30 years after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, and will star a trio of new young leads along with some very familiar faces. No further details on casting or plot are available at this time," production said in a statement.

Unfortunately for fans, the "Star Wars" production hasn't revealed any casting news, although several actors have been linked to film.  Zac Efron, Lupita Nyong'o, Gary Oldman, Benedict Cumberbatch, Adam Driver and Jesse Plemmons are a few actors with rumored connections to film, but haven't confirmed they've signed on to roles.

"Star Wars: Episode 7" will be released to theaters on Dec. 18, 2015.
