NFL star Reggie Bush is a father. The 28-year-old Detroit Lions running back and his fiancée Lilit Avagyan gave birth to a baby girl Monday.
A spokesman for the pair confirmed the news to US Weekly but didn't reveal a name.
"Lilit gave birth to a beautiful baby girl," the rep told the publication, adding that "she weighed in at 8lbs, 9oz."
Bush first confirmed the news that he was going to be a father in October 2012 on Florida's "Paul and Young Ron Morning Show." "I have a little one on the way," Bush revealed. "We're pretty excited!"
Bush's confirmation came just two months before ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian announced she was pregnant by Kanye West.
Bush famously dated Kardashian, who is expecting a baby with rapper West in July, on and off for several years. The couple finally broke off their relationship for good in March 2010.
According to Hollywood Life, a source tells that them that Kardashian and Bush rarely ever talk anymore and Bush still hasn't forgiven the reality star for cheating on him with West.
Bush's fiancée, Avagyan has been compared to Kardashian several times. Both ladies are Armenian descent, have dark hair and curvy figures.
Bush has been dating Avagyan, a dancer, for 18 months. Last month, Bush posted a blog on the Detroit Lion's website about becoming a father for the first time.
"I'm very excited. Very excited about the baby," Bush said. "It's our first one and couldn't have come at a better time. It couldn't have come with a better person. Someone I really love and care about. It's great. It really worked out perfect."
