Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, Luke Bryan lead CMT Award nominations

CMT announced nominations for their annual awards celebration Monday. Miranda Lambert, Eric Church and Luke Bryan lead the pack.

The awards show will air June 5 during a live broadcast from Nashville, Tenn. on the Country Music Television network. The three top bidders received four nominations each and are all nominated for the highly coveted Video of the Year award.

Bryan, who was recently named the Academy of Country Music's entertainer of the year, will compete with Church in three categories. Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Hunter Hayes, Jana Kramer, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, Kacey Musgraves, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Journey also each received multiple nominations.

Hunter Hayes joined Carrie Underwood, opening up for her most recent tour. Underwood was last year's CMT top winner, earning five awards. She is nominated for two this year. Taylor Swift, who was also a big winner last year, is nominated for two 2013 awards. Swift was nominated for four Academy of Country Music Awards this year but was shut out completely, winning none at the April ceremony.

Lambert's husband, "The Voice" judge, Blake Shelton, is nominated for male video of the year for "Sure Be Cool If You Did." Lambert's side group, Pistol Annie's, is also nominated for Group Video of the Year for "Takin' Pills." The husband-and-wife-duo took home a total of five trophies combined at last year's CMT Awards.

Bryan and Lambert were also big winners at the 2012 CMT Awards. Lambert won her third Female Video of the Year Award for "Over You." Bryan took home the Male Video of the Year Award for "I Don't Want This Night to End."

Aldean and Kristen Bell will host the ceremony at the Bridgestone Arena. Fans can vote for their favorite artists on the CMT website until June 2.
