According to the Israeli news site Haaretz, the relatives were making the roadblock while holding banners and supersized pictures of the hostages and shouting, "We want them alive, not in coffins."

About 134 Israelis are still believed to be held captive inside Gaza, however it is not clear how many of them are still alive.

Freed Hamas Hostage: Gaza Hospital Staff Jubilant of 'Jewish Prey'

In an exclusive report, Jewish American mother-and-daughter duo Judith and Natalie Raanan told NewsNation of their first moments as Hamas hostages when they were taken to a hospital in Gaza.

"The minute we came in, all the nurses were standing there and [cheering]," the older Raanan said. "They were all so happy that they came back with prey, with Israeli-Jewish prey,"

Judith also recalled how she interacted with a senior Hamas leader who spoke "brilliant Hebrew"

The Raanans were the first of the hostages that were released by Hamas after a deal negotiated by the Qatar government, with the group saying that the release was due to "humanitarian reasons."
