Kanye West revealed that he was on the point of financial collapse when his partnership with Adidas came to an end.

The sponsorship ended in 2022 following West's controversial remarks on X/Twitter. Despite initially denying the existence of the term "anti-Semitism" and dismissing it as unfounded, the rapper and producer has now issued a somewhat apologetic statement to those who were offended by his remarks, as per NME.

In a recent interview, it was disclosed that he experienced financial difficulties a mere two months ago. He assigned this crisis to the effects of his contentious remarks, which resulted in him being abandoned by several brands. West, also known as Ye, was proud of the success of his most recent album, "Vultures," and the Yeezy Super Bowl ad, despite the setback. The artist attributed his ability to withstand the criticism to his diverse range of skills, confidently asserting his ability to persevere despite attempts to cancel him.

After coming back to Los Angeles from a football trip in Las Vegas, West boldly announced that his album had reached the top of the charts worldwide. During the discussion, he recognized the consequences of his previous offensive comments, acknowledging that he faced backlash but emphasized that he managed to overcome it.

Speaking to TMZ, the Heartless singer shared insights into his financial struggles, stating, "I was two months from going bankrupt, and I put everything I had into it." He emphasized the importance of his diverse talents in music and fashion, coupled with a loyal fanbase, in overcoming attempts to dismantle his career, according to Mirror.

Ye Defends Antisemitic Comments

When confronted about his previous antisemitic comments and asked if he regretted them, the 24-time Grammy winner refused to apologize, asserting everyone's right to their opinions. Last week, Kanye faced renewed criticism for referring to himself as an "antisemite" in the title track of his latest album.

The livestream party for 'Vultures' faced an abrupt shutdown after Kanye West debuted the controversial track during an event in Chicago. Wearing a Jason Voorhees mask, the Yeezy founder rapped about being "crazy, bipolar, antisemite" before the streaming service, Veeps, cut the feed immediately after the contentious lyrics.

Meanwhile, Kanye West and his spouse, Bianca Censori, had another attractive moment on Sunday at the Super Bowl final by wearing a daring outfit. A figure, donning an intriguing Alexander McQueen 'death mask,' complemented by a sleek black leather jacket and trousers, skillfully concealed their true identity.

Censori chose to wear an oversized trench coat and concealed her hair with a snug black hood, further enhancing the couple's unique look, Daily News reported.
