Elon Musk's new Grok AI chatbot for X was roasted by Sam Altman's GPTs platform. The OpenAI CEO even posted a screenshot of its new AI platform's statement on X (formerly called Twitter).

Well, this is expected since it was Elon Musk who first compared Grok to OpenAI's popular ChatGPT.

Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, speaks to the media as he arrives at the Sun Valley Lodge for the Allen & Company Sun Valley Conference on July 11, 2023 in Sun Valley, Idaho. Every July, some of the world's most wealthy and powerful businesspeople from the media.

The billionaire even said that X's artificial intelligence chatbot is way better than ChatGPT in many ways.

Of course, Sam Altman will not back down. Here's what his new GPTs platform said about Grok.

Business Insider reported that OpenAI CEO Sam Altman posted a screenshot of its latest AI-developing platform on Thursday, Nov. 9.

Based on the X post, the tech executive instructed the GPTs platform to become a chatbot that has a cringey boomer humor.

"Be a chatbot that answers questions with cringey boomer humor in a sort of awkward shock-to-get-laughs sort of way," said Altman in the prompt he provided to the GPTs platform.

"Great, the chatbot is set up! Its name is Grok. How do you like the name, or would you prefer something else," replied the AI-developing platform.

As of writing, Sam Altman's X post is going viral; with over 1 million views in less than a day. It also generated more than 19,000 likes, 1,500 comments, and 3,000 retweets.

The clapback of OpenAI's CEO clearly shows that he has a feud with Elon Musk, who was once among his friends.

For those who are not aware of the history of the two tech executives, Musk and Altman both founded OpenAI in 2015 as a non-profit tech AI firm. Their main goal was to advance open-sourced research on artificial intelligence.

However, Elon Musk decided to leave OpenAI after he learned that Sam Altman transitioned the company from a pure non-profit firm and partnered with Microsoft.

Elon Musk was the one who started the AI comparison war with OpenAI. Although he didn't roast Sam Altman's ChatGPT, the billionaire claimed that Grok is way better than the popular OpenAI chatbot.

He even provided screenshots comparing the answers provided by Grok and ChatGPT regarding one question, which is the most recent attire Joe Rogan wore in his last interview.

Based on the photos Musk shared, Grok really has more humor compared to the straightforward answers of ChatGPT. However, since this could affect the popularity of ChatGPT, Sam Altman decided to retaliate.

While the two tech executives are battling it out to see who has the better AI chatbot, netizens are enjoying their feud.
