BUCKS COUNTY, PA - NOVEMBER 24: A Sasquatch statue dressed as a pilgrim with a face mask is seen two days before Thanksgiving on November 24, 2020 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The Center for Disease Control issued a recommendation urging people to stay at home and not travel for the holiday.

On a romantic vacation in Colorado, a couple claims to have captured Bigfoot walking on a mountain and resting in broad daylight.

Shannon and Stetson Parker, who were on a vacation to celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary, claim to have spotted the legendary lummox while sightseeing on the narrow gauge rail line between Durango and Silverton in the far southwest of Colorado, as per Newsweek via MSN.

Couple Allegedly Saw Bigfoot in Colorado

As they were enjoying a ride on a steam engine train, Tyler suddenly exclaimed, "I think I saw Bigfoot."

His claim immediately piqued the interest of fellow passenger Brandon, who decided to record the unusual sighting.

"The ever-elusive creature, Bigfoot," Brandon remarked as he began recording. The video showed the enigmatic figure moving about on a hillside, eventually settling into a seated position.

The alleged Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, blended into the surrounding dark brown shrubs as it moved and intermittently gazed toward the passing train.

As the passengers observed in awe, they wondered if the creature was still in motion. Some even speculated that it could stand up at any moment. However, as the train chugged, the video lost sight of the mysterious being. Shannon Parker described the experience as a "once-in-a-lifetime opportunity." She and her husband had never encountered anything like it before.

Even the train conductor, when consulted, admitted to never having seen anything quite like this. He recounted his own inexplicable experiences while snowshoeing in the same mountains. The video quickly made its way onto social media, sparking various reactions. While some believe it was a genuine encounter, others are convinced it was a well-executed hoax.

Out There Colorado shared the video, and it garnered over 3,000 likes and more than 1,000 re-posts. Comments on the video varied, with some suggesting that Bigfoot wears costumes that are discarded after sightings.

Others considered the possibility of military camouflage, while some embraced the mysterious allure of the creature, according to Marca.

Bigfoot's Enduring Mystery

This recent sighting brings back memories of a 2015 video captured by hunter Josh Highcliffe. The footage filmed nine miles west of Tunica, Mississippi, displayed a broad-backed creature resembling a gorilla.

In the video, this creature pulled bark off a tree trunk, sparking excitement among Bigfoot hunters. The legend of Bigfoot has a long history dating back to 1958 when journalist Andrew Genzoli shared a letter from a reader about loggers discovering giant footprints in northern California.

However, it was later revealed as a hoax by Ray Wallace in 2002. Yet, interest in Bigfoot persisted, with some researchers even conducting genetic testing. Texas veterinarian Melba S. Ketchum claimed that the North American Sasquatch is a hybrid species resulting from the interbreeding of an unknown hominin species and Homo sapiens.

While debates continue about the origins and existence of Bigfoot, enthusiasts, and researchers remain undeterred in their pursuit of evidence. From the Pacific Northwest to various states across the United States, the legend of Bigfoot endures, with thousands claiming to have encountered this elusive creature.

The recent video from Cheyenne is a testament to the enduring fascination with this legendary cryptid, Mail Online reported.
