Two men were shot in a neighborhood altercation in East Hollywood on Sunday afternoon (September 24).

According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the incident happened near Sunset Boulevard and Serrano Avenue. Officers found two men suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene. Both men were taken to hospital in stable condition.

Gunman Remains At Large, LAPD Says

SWAT negotiators attempted to reach the suspect in his apartment but got no response. By the time officers managed to get into the unit, the gunman was nowhere to be found.

Despite this, police say they have recovered the firearm they believed was used in the shooting.
